For this DIPA we took inspiration from our buddies at Rivington and started by employing a new malt bill of Heidelberg Pils and Château Wheat Blanc. Then topped it off with an insane dry hop consisting of our hand selected Citra, Krush and, new to us but a favourite at Rivy, Superdelic.

GlasgowPale
The beer is inspired by Parveen’s Canteen & the Pakistani dessert called ‘kulfi’, and is flavoured with alfonso and honey mangoes. A lot of them: 230g per litre of beer. It is sweet and densely creamy, like the dessert, but lactose free. The cardamom flavour is there but not prominent, balancing the fruitiness and medium acidity with fragrant spiciness.

LondonHazy NEIPA
Maris Otter, wheat and oats make up the body of the beer, heft and haze. A version of house yeast blend add a rich stone fruit character that plays beautifully with the hops (Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe and Galaxy). The hops come through quite saturated on the nose, initially quite bright citrus and pineapple, then slowly dispersing into apricot, oranges, jam, guava. The texture is full and round, accentuated by the oats and wheat, sweet with a touch of alcohol, juice and fruit. It then steps back a little, dropping in a drier finish touch, with a small hit of bitterness.
